Provide detailed analysis of one or more documents from a particular set.  How would begin to describe the overall purpose and tone of the document?  What themes seem to be of particular note?  What specific passages would you highlight as of special interest and why?  How would you place this document within historical context (although there is no expectation that you engage in extra research about the document, you are welcome to do so)?

I encourage you to discuss more than one document from the same set in one single comparative Journal entry.  If you do choose this latter approach, try to identify significant parallels and contrasts between the documents under discussion.  (recommended length: 1+ page per Primary Document Analysis)
