IN SEARCH OF ORPHEUS' HEAD: THE NORTH AEGEAN

A site at Sigeion was identified in the Classical era as the burial mound of Achilles. I'd like to read more about Alexander the Great and this spot.
A burial mound at Rhoteion south of Troy was associated with Ajax, while there also is a cave of Ajax.
I'm very interested in sacred traditions associated with Mt. Ida. The Zeus Altari is just outside of Adatepe, while there must be ancient traditions that link particular spots to the Judgment of Paris and to the meeting of Anchises and Aphrodite.
