The Circumvesuviana train from Naples to Pompeii-Villa dei Misteri takes 40 minutes and ends up outside the western, Porta Marina entrance.

Most places around Nsaples can be reached on either the Cumana railway or Metropolitana line 2, with buses between Fusaro and Torregavata via Bacoli and Miseno filling in the gaps.
