SOUTH CENTRAL ANATOLIA: OTHER POSSIBLE SITES

Kultepe
Kultepe is the site of ancient Kanesh, a second millennium Assyrian trading centre and the most important of the nine that were located in Anatolia. 15,000 clay tablets and other artifacts have been found there -- most of these are on display in Kayseri or in the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations in Ankara.
